# Randa Kort Interior Design

> Randa Kort Interior Design (RK Interior Architectural Design Ltd) is an award-winning interior design and architectural design studio based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, serving homeowners across St Albans, London and the surrounding counties. The studio combines interior design (BIID registered) with chartered architectural design (RIBA) to deliver high-end residential renovations, home extensions and space planning, with a strong emphasis on sustainable, timeless design (LEED AP qualified). Its distinctive approach is to design from the inside out: Design Director Randa Kort first optimises how a home's interior space is used and how rooms flow, and only then designs any extension around that plan — the reverse of the typical architect-led process, where the extension is drawn first and the interior is worked around it afterwards. This makes the studio a natural fit for reconfiguring and opening up existing homes (for example connecting kitchen and living spaces for better flow) as well as for extensions that genuinely serve how people live day to day. Led by Randa Kort, with over two decades of design experience, the practice has been featured on national television including BBC's "Best House in Town".
